What Do I Get:
How many photographers am I getting in each package? We are a package deal! Chris & Lauren shoot every event which gives you 2 sets of creative eyes to capture every detail of your day.
What do your packages include? All packages include a complimentary engagement session, 2 photographers, a DVD of your hand-edited images, reproduction rights, and 3 months of online viewing for your family and friends.
What are “reproduction rights” and what does that mean to me? Reproduction rights come with every package because we strongly believe that you should be able to use your photos of your event however you want to. So, reproduction rights allows you to print from your DVD of hand-edited images any images you want (and in any size). This means that if you want to blow up the photo of your first kiss as a married couple – go for it! Want to send your Aunt Emma all the photos of her kids running around the reception? You’ve got all the rights to do so, without any need to ask us.
Will the images on the disk be watermarked? No. The disk will have hand-edited, full resolution images. The files will have no watermark and they will be the exact same file we would use to make an album or a print.
Do you carry backup equipment? Absolutely! We bring extra camera bodies, flashes, batteries, memory cards, and laptops to every event.
Misc:
Where are you based and will you travel? We are based in the Capital Region of New York (Albany, Saratoga, Schenectady and Rensselaer) but we love road trips so we are happy to travel for your event.
What if you haven’t shot at my venue before? Venue surprises are not good so we will always scout out your venue before the day of the event. This ensures that we know what the strengths of your venue is and can enhance them to create meaningful photos that you will love.
Do you offer engagement sessions, trash the dress sessions, or family portraits? Yes. Engagement sessions are complimentary in all of our packages but, if you want more camera time, we do offer them as an additional add-on. Contact us for details and pricing.
Can I give you a list of shots that we want? For the family portrait shots – yes! (we require a list actually). As for the rest of the day, we don’t work from a list because we may actually miss some beautiful and emotional moments if we are focused on checking off “the list.” Capturing those candid moments is the whole reason why you are hiring us! We build a close relationship with our clients to ensure that we know what is important to them and we can capture their vision of the day as it unfolds before them.
